Toryglen League – The Rules

As you know all match rules in relation to the mini fours and soccer sevens can be downloaded via the SYFA web page, it is important that all team have a copy of this and read it as some rules have changed, below is a few for your info

THROW-INS/KICK-INS

Throw- ins will be taken at age groups 2001 and 2002  
Kick- ins will be taken at age groups:2006/05, 2004 and 2003

RETREATING LINES

There will be retreating lines at the following age groups: 
2005/2006 players will retreat to the half way line, players will restart the game from their own goal

2004, 2003 age groups there will be a 13m retreating indicated by cones if on the grass and the 18 yard box line on the astro. When the keeper has the ball the opposing players must retreat behind this line, until the ball is played by the keeper to one of his/her players. Then no player from the opposition is allowed into the retreating area until the outfield player has played the ball

2002 and 2001 age groups there is no retreating area

PASS BACK

2001 and 2002 age groups- pass back rule does apply

2003 and 2004 age groups- pass back rule does not apply

SIZE OF BALL

2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 size 4′s 
2005, 2006 size 3′s
